Scandi Standard awarded Sustainability Partnership Award
We are proud to share that Scandi Standard’s Danish business Danpo A/S has received the Sustainability Partnership Award when Food Folk hosted the annual Supplier Summit in Stockholm on February 4th.
Food Folk holds the licenses for McDonald’s across the Nordic region, and each year the company gathers suppliers from the value chain to network, exchange insights, and receive updates on developments within the global quick-service restaurant sector.
As part of the Summit, awards are presented to suppliers for distinguished achievements. This year, Danpo and Scandi Standard were recognised with the Sustainability Partnership Award, alongside Lantmännen and Arla.
– We received this year’s Sustainability Partnership Award for the pilot projects aimed at reducing the share of soy in chicken feed and identifying alternative protein sources – as well as for our collaboration with other suppliers, including Arla and Lantmännen in Sweden, to reduce the climate impact of food production. We are very pleased and proud to be recognized for this work – especially by a strategic customer with whom we work closely to drive progress toward food production with a lower climate footprint, says Ida Ljungkvist, Sustainability Director at Scandi Standard.
Embedding climate initiatives in daily operations
Scandi Standard continues its efforts to reduce its climate footprint, with a strong emphasis on execution and impact across the value chain. Climate initiatives are integrated into daily operations and supported by structured governance, science-based targets, and a clear transition plan.

Partnerships that enable progress
Strong partnerships across the entire value chain are also essential to achieving long‑term progress in both quality and sustainability. Our results depend on close collaboration internally — between employees and functions — as well as with suppliers, customers and other stakeholders who share our commitment to responsible and transparent operations.
