Strongest quarter to date with continued growth and strategic progress

October 21, 2026

The third quarter 2026 was the strongest in the Group’s history in terms of underlying earnings. Adjusted operating income increased by 18 per cent to 220 (185) MSEK, while the acquisition of Glenhaven Foods marked an important milestone in strengthening Scandi Standard’s European platform and future growth opportunities.

Scandi Standard continued to make progress during the quarter. Net sales increased by 8 per cent to 4,038 (3,723) MSEK, while adjusted operating income increased by 18 per cent to 220 (185) MSEK. At the same time, the acquisition of Glenhaven Foods, the oversubscribed rights issue and new sustainability-linked financing strengthened the platform for continued growth and further expansion in Europe.

The results reflect Scandi Standard’s ability to meet growing demand for chicken while continuing to improve operational efficiency, expand its European footprint and invest in long-term value creation.

“Strong demand, improved operational efficiency and positive developments across both RTC and RTE contributed to another quarter of profitable growth. At the same time, we continued to strengthen our platform for future expansion through investments and acquisitions,” says Jonas Tunestål, CEO of Scandi Standard.

Highlights during the quarter:
• Adjusted operating income increased by 18% to 220 (185) MSEK
• Net sales increased by 8% to 4,038 (3,723) MSEK
• Strong performance in both Ready-to-cook and Ready-to-eat
• Glenhaven Foods acquisition expands our European platform
• Rights issue completed and new sustainability-linked financing secured
• IKB KIP certification achieved in Lithuania

“We are delivering strong sales and earnings growth while building for the future. That combination gives me great confidence in our ability to continue creating long-term value together,” says Jonas Tunestål.

Financial position and outlook
Operating cash flow improved to 218 (189) MSEK, while net interest-bearing debt decreased significantly during the quarter. The successful rights issue and the new sustainability-linked credit facility strengthened the Group’s financial flexibility and support future growth initiatives, including the integration of Glenhaven Foods.

“We continued to deliver profitable growth in the third quarter, with earnings growing faster than sales and returns improving despite a larger capital base. This demonstrates the strength of our underlying operations and our continued focus on capital discipline as we invest for future growth,” says Fredrik Sylwan, CFO of Scandi Standard.

Demand for chicken remains strong and Scandi Standard continues to see favourable long-term market conditions. Supported by strong market positions, a growing European presence and a strengthened financial platform, the Group remains well positioned to continue executing its strategy and create long-term value.
