What I expect to be working on in Scandi Standard:
Different kinds of interesting and challenging projects involving different operations. At first, projects such as making production planning process descriptions and risk analyses, and further develop the production reporting processes.
What I wish to gain from the graduate program in Scandi Standard:
I wish, and believe, I will gain a lot of knowledge and experiences throughout the graduate program. I wish to gain international experience and a broad understanding of the chicken industry, and learn new skills and new ways of thinking, learning and developing.
Why Scandi Standard:
I strongly believe in the future of the chicken business. For me, Scandi Standard is a chance to be part of producing high quality food in a sustainable way that also considers values such as animal welfare and environmental issues. Scandi Standard has a clear vision of the future, and a real strive to improve and do things in a better way – “better chicken for a better life”. It is a great opportunity to work in a company that is constantly looking forward and providing various possibilities for development. Scandi Standard Graduate program is a great way to get international experience and gain a lot of knowledge from inspiring people.

What I wish to gain from the graduate program in Scandi Standard:
I wish to continue the steep learning curve I have had so far by being challenged to think outside the box, and to use some of the knowledge I have obtained on real life cases.
Why Scandi Standard:
Even though the companies within Scandi Standard are old and well-known in their home countries, the organisation is very new why there is a lot of amazing opportunities to influence how the organisation is going to look in the future. Also, the cooperation between the different companies within Scandi Standard provides for another great opportunity to build an amazing network and communication skills.

What I expect to be working on in Scandi Standard:
In Scandi Standard, I expect to work on projects that will provide quality input and contributions to the financial decisions made by upper level management of the company. With various projects related to the organisation’s cash flow, revenue and expenses, I expect to work with other team members to gather and analyse financial data that will ensure an alignment with management’s long-term strategic goals.
What I wish to gain from the graduate program in Scandi Standard:
I wish to gain a great deal of knowledge and experience on the industry’s financial reporting practices and procedures from working closely with the financial team and management. I also hope to obtain a high level of personal growth and development in areas such as planning, organising, communication and overall performance.

What I expect to be working on in Scandi Standard:
I expect to be working on a project involved in improving the traceability of our products to enhance greater transparency and assurance of the quality and integrity of our chickens. There is a consumer desire for a more sustainable food system and the ability to trace poultry products from farm to fork is highly valued by the industry.
What I wish to gain from the graduate program in Scandi Standard:
I wish to gain experience in the poultry processing industry in all areas of operations. I hope to be involved in many different projects and to apply what I will learn to help improve efficiency and quality. I look forward to the training, mentoring and networking opportunities that will help my career progression with becoming a future leader here.
Why Scandi Standard:
I chose Scandi Standard because I wanted to challenge myself and get the opportunity to rotate through different departments and gain experience of different functions within the business. It is exciting to be a part of a growing company and see how information about poultry production can be shared between the sites across Scandinavia and Ireland to help us all achieve the best standard possible.

What I expect to be working on in Scandi Standard:
I expect to get a broad range of projects within the Finance area. Right now, I am starting up with some projects related to improving the financial reporting routines at the Harlösa factory and reviewing the profitability of our campaigns.
What I wish to gain from the graduate program in Scandi Standard:
I hope that by being involved in several hands-on projects I will gain both new knowledge about the industry as well as valuable experience from different roles within a Finance team. I also hope that I will meet many new colleagues and experienced professionals from whom I can learn and grow both professionally and personally.

Because I believe it is a company with high ambitions with people and a culture that makes me smile on my way to work. I think that I will be challenged, solve real problems, learn new things and laugh a lot – that’s why I chose Scandi Standard.

What I expect to be working on in Scandi Standard:
I expect the next two years to be full of learning, engagement, motivation, and challenges. More concretely, I hope that I will be able to have an especially steep learning curve within core business functions and strategic management challenges. Furthermore, I expect to be working on challenging real-life projects in a growth environment with competent and passionate colleagues across the business. I hope that I will have the opportunity to contribute with my interest and knowledge at the intersection of sustainability, innovation, and internal processes, as well as to use my ability to think and act across the business units in a way that inspires and strategically drives Scandi Standard in the future.
What I wish to gain from the graduate program in Scandi Standard:
I wish to develop strong interpersonal and leadership skills which enable me to better understand different perspectives across the business units. Furthermore, I wish to step out of my comfort zone and get exposed to new people and behaviors. Gain my way of observing, asking, listening, and understand the reasons behind others’ behaviors and meanings before reacting on it. Overall, I wish to develop my career, meet inspiring people, get new experiences, and learn the skills that will open doors to exciting opportunities in the years to come.
Why Scandi Standard:
The main reasoning behind my choice to apply for the graduate program in Scandi Standard is threefold:
- Firstly, this program offers me the chance to work on a lot of different projects across a wide range of functional areas such as Planning, Finance and Operation. I see this as a great opportunity to learn about a variety of areas.
- Secondly, Scandi Standard puts a great emphasis on training and support.
- Thirdly, the graduate program has focus on leadership, and you get the opportunity to go abroad for six months.
